Use the following routes for common Salt Lake County requests:
- A District Court case: contact the Clerk of the Third District Court or use Utah Courts Xchange
- A county Justice Court matter: call the Salt Lake County Justice Court clerk at 385-468-8200
- A city case: contact the municipal Justice Court named on the citation or filing
- A court date: check the court schedule, then confirm any change with the proper clerk
- A certified copy: order it from the clerk that maintains the original court file
For county Justice Court records, contact the Salt Lake County Justice Court clerk, 2001 S State Street, Suite S4-300, Salt Lake City, UT 84114, phone 385-468-8200. The office is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., closes from noon to 1 p.m., and does not accept payments after 4:30 p.m. District Court records are held separately by the Clerk of the Third District Court; the Matheson Courthouse general line is 801-238-7300.
